Overview
Business
Horizon Robotics (地平线) is a Cayman Islands holding company listed in Hong Kong. Its business is driver-assistance chips and software for cars: it says its share of China's domestic-brand ADAS market passed 50% for the first time in the first half of 2026. Revenue comes from product solutions (¥925.6m, 45%) and licensing and services (¥1,129.4m, 55%) (2026 interim results announcement, pp. 2, 9).
Results
In the first half of 2026 revenue rose 32.9% to ¥2,055.0m at a gross margin of 66.0%. Research spending was ¥2,755.0m, and its adjusted net loss, a non-IFRS measure, was ¥1,671.2m, up 25.4% (pp. 1, 4, 7). Its reported profit for the period was ¥3,783.9m, which includes a gain on deconsolidating D-Robotics and fair-value changes on financial liabilities (pp. 1, 8).
Robots
Horizon's robot business sits mostly in D-Robotics, which it deconsolidated on 31 March 2026 and now reports as a material associate. The company says D-Robotics has empowered more than 100 robot categories, serving over 400 customers and covering more than half of the embodied-intelligence companies in China (p. 4). That is the company's own claim. It also says it has exported its technologies, through partners, to embodied intelligence, unmanned logistics vehicle and other edge computing platforms (p. 4).
The announcement gives no robot revenue, no chip shipments for robots and no named humanoid customers.
Where it stands
Horizon is an automotive company first. Its robot presence is real but now sits outside its consolidated accounts, so its own results do not show how big it is.
