Overview

Business

Beite Technology is an auto-parts supplier with three segments: chassis parts, aluminium lightweighting, and air-conditioning compressors. The company says it holds a leading position in two chassis niches, passenger-car steering racks and shock-absorber piston rods, and that its compressor business leads in commercial vehicles. In the first half of 2026, growth came mainly from compressors, including electric compressors and integrated thermal management systems for electric heavy trucks and construction machinery (2026 interim report, pp. 7-8).

Screws for robots and vehicles

Drawing on two decades of precision metal machining, Beite develops planetary roller screws, ball screws and trapezoidal screws, including miniature versions, together with their key parts: nuts, rollers, screw shafts and ring gears. It targets rear-wheel steering and smart braking in cars, and limb actuators and dexterous hands in robots, and says it has the basic conditions for volume production (2026 interim report, pp. 8-9, 17).

  • Kunshan. In October 2024 Beite agreed to invest ¥1.85bn in a planetary roller screw R&D and production base in the Kunshan Economic and Technological Development Zone. By mid-2026 the main plant structure was complete and its Shanghai production line had moved there (p. 13).
  • Thailand. Beite is building a second screw base in Thailand. In April 2026 it raised the investment ceiling by up to ¥550m; phase one, partly funded by a 2025 share placement, is scheduled for June 2027 (pp. 13, 27).
  • Spending so far. Screw projects under construction stood at ¥161.6m against a ¥437.2m budget at 30 June 2026 (p. 107).

What the company says about demand

Beite is explicit that the business is early. Its interim report says downstream technical plans, real demand, and the timing, volume and price of mass production are all uncertain, and that its screw products have not yet had a noticeable effect on its results (pp. 9, 16). The report does not name screw customers.
