Overview
Business
Haozhi (广州市昊志机电股份有限公司) is best known for electric spindles for machine tools and printed circuit board drilling. It also makes rotary tables, linear and direct-drive motors, and a robot line of harmonic reducers, frameless motors, low-voltage servo drives, brakes, encoders and torque sensors. Its Swiss subsidiary Infranor and the Mavilor servo motor business supply servo motors, drives and motion controllers (2026 interim report, pp. 10, 17, 18).
Results
In the first half of 2026 revenue rose 65.9% to ¥1.166bn and net profit attributable to shareholders rose 266.6% to ¥232.3m (p. 8). The company puts the growth down to demand for printed circuit board equipment driven by AI computing infrastructure (p. 25). Spindles were ¥816m, 70% of main revenue, up 79.7%. Gross margin was 42.5% overall (pp. 25, 27).
The robot business is much smaller:
- Robot core components: ¥17.3m, 1.5% of main revenue, up 41.4%. This includes the harmonic reducers (p. 25).
- Infranor servo products (servo motors, drives and controllers): ¥154.4m, up 15.0% (p. 25).
- Rotary tables, linear motors and other function parts: ¥166.0m, up 78.3% (p. 25).
Frameless motors
Haozhi lists two frameless products for robots. The frameless direct-drive (DD) motor is a large-bore, flat motor with a surface-mounted magnet rotor and a slotted stator, sold for humanoid, collaborative and robot-dog joint modules (p. 14). The frameless torque motor is described as having torque ripple of 1% or less and 3.5 times overload capacity, aimed mainly at collaborative and light robots (p. 15).
The company says it has achieved full domestic substitution of core robot components and that its harmonic reducer has entered the supply chain of leading robot makers (pp. 15, 25). It does not name customers or give frameless motor revenue or volumes, so these claims cannot be checked from the filing.
Where it stands
Haozhi's profit surge comes from spindles, not robots. Its frameless motors are one of several robot products, within a line that earned ¥17.3m in the half year. It is included here as a supplier that makes the complete set of joint parts, including harmonic reducers, but its filings show much less robot volume than Kinco.
